Yashraj Films owner Aditya Chopra’s decision to call off his relationship with wife Payal khanna legally and to tie knot with Rani Mukherjee disturbed and hurt his family members deeply. On the other hand, Rani’s decision of marrying a divorcee made her family members furious. Since their families are against their choice, they have moved out of their respective houses. Presently, Aditya is staying in a five star hotel and Rani moved into her own apartment at Janaki Kutir.

Aditya’s parents love their daughter-in-law very much and to make her life secure, she will be given an alimony of 25 crores and a bungalow in Khar Mumbai. He has filed a divorce case in a Mumbai court in December 2007. It is a mutual decision of Aditya and Payal as for quite sometime their marriage was through rough weather.

The speculation that Rani may take the seat of Aditya’s wife has been confirmed by a close friend of Aditya. Months back, the news of their engagement has hit the headlines but then both of them declared it baseless. Finally, Aditya and Rani will tie into matrimonial knot soon after the settlement of his divorce in May.
