Global Indian TV Awards onstage photos awesome Collection
Mar 2, 2008The Global Indian TV Awards, held on Friday, February 1, at the Andheri Sports Complex, in northwest Mumbai, will be telecast tomorrow, Saturday 8 pm, March 1 on 9X Channel.
March 1, 2008 (Celebmagic.blogspot.com) - The Global Indian TV Awards, held on Friday, February 1, at the Andheri Sports Complex, in northwest Mumbai, will be telecast tomorrow, Saturday 8 pm, March 1 on 9X Channel. Shah Rukh Khan, who was honored at the event for being the best anchor in the quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 3, is expected to host the telecast tomorrow. Also honored at the event was Kareena Kapoor who was lustily cheered as she walked on to the stage clad in a red saree and with backless blouse to accept the award from Jeetendra and Rakesh Roshan. The decision to give Kareena, a Bollywood actress who has nothing to do with TV, an award during the event was probably ruse to make the telecast tomorrow more attractive for viewers. Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms partnered with Channel 9x to launch the TV awards show which was hosted by Malaika Arora Khan and Sajid Khan. Performers at the event included Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Ronit Roy, Prachi Desai, Jay Bhanushali and Shabbir Ahluwalia. Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan , Suniel Shetty, Dimple Kapadia, Rakesh Roshan and Rakhi Sawant were amongst the Bollywood celebs who joined the Indian Television stars for the Global Indian TV Awards show at Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai, Friday, February 1. The judges from a diverse background included Farida Jalal, Aruna Irani, Manish Malhotra, Vikram Phadnis, Anurag Basu, B.P. and Neena Gupta.
