Shah Rukh Khan’s no show at ‘Bhootnath’ music launch!

April 9, 2008 -Shah Rukh Khan, who makes a cameo appearance in Bhootnath, was a no show at the film’s music launch during the Amul Star Voice of India Chotte Ustaad Grand Finale, even though he features prominently on the music CD artwork.

The rest of the Bhootnath team attended the event at the Goregaon Sports Complex on Saturday evening, April 5 - lead stars Amitabh Bachchan and Juhi Chawla; director Vivek Sharma, producer Ravi Chopra, and co-actors Priyanshu Chatterjee and Satish Shah.

Besides featuring in the film, Shah Rukh is closely associated with Star TV: he anchored KBC 3 for them in 2007 and is now working on their new TRP ‘divyastra’ reality series, Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain. Shah Rukh is also known for his brand loyalties.

Both Star TV and Ravi Chopra would have jumped with joy had Shah Rukh attended.

We know Shah Rukh did not have any other engagements at that time; actually, he was at home when the episode was being filmed, thanks to an early pack up call on the set of Paanchvi Pass, by the Star creative team to facilitate filming of the Chotte Ustaad Grand Finale.

So what kept Shah Rukh away? No! It is not what you are thinking. Dude, don’t you know Shah Rukh and Amitabh are good friends now!
