New Delhi, April 25: A lot has been said about new comer Sikander Kher, Anupam Kher’s son, who makes his debut in Hansal Mehta’s ‘Woodstock Villa’. It’s now time to turn the spotlight on the leading lady, Neha Oberoi, who plays Sikander’s love interest in the flick.

Neha Oberoi, who is a budding actress and director Sanjay Gupta’s niece, does not believe that having connections in Bollywood help in the long run. The starlet feels that hard work is the sole medium through which one can succeed.

“In the film industry nobody would guide you just because you are the son or daughter of some celebrity. In the long run, only hard work and an actor’s acting skills help. In fact, it becomes more difficult because viewers expectations increase manifold,” she said.

Though in real life the girl may stand strong on her principles, her role in the movie goes contrary to her off-screen beliefs. The film shows Neha playing the role of an aspiring model, Reshma, who can go to any extent to reach her goals fast.

An actress, who is relatively new in Bollywood has already won a Filmfare award for her perfomance in Telugu film ‘Balu’.

Talking about her experience in ‘Woodstock Villa’, Neha is all praises for the cast and crew of her upcoming flick.

‘Working with Hansal and Sikander was a wonderful experience. Sikander is very professional and full of energy all the time, which keeps your spirits high as well. And Hansal has loads of patience. Both of us were newcomers, but he never lost his cool, which is very important. Hats off to him’, adds Neha.

Well, going by the current scenario it’s nice to hear that actors still feel hard work pays. All we can say is way to go gal..
