Honeymoon period for actress Vidya Malvade after Chak De India seems to be never ending as offers continue to pour in for this damsel.

“Well life after Chak De surely is beautiful. I have waited for this moment for a very long time. I have struggled my way through it so I am enjoying every moment of it. It was like a dream to be an actor and be in front of the camera. I never thought I will be able to do it but here I am,” Vidya said.

So, what’s keeping the pretty actress busy post Chak De?

“There is Kidnap which is going to be out on October 2. It stars Sanjay Dutt and after which it is going to be Striker which stars Siddharth. Then I have just started shooting for which again has a very nice ensemble cast,” Vidya said.

And that is not all, Vidya is also facing her fears by participating in Akshay Kumar’s show Fear Factor?

“I am very scared but I did overcome a few fears, and may be I got even more paranoid of some other fears, but to know that you will have to wait and watch the show,” Vidya said.

She was last seen as a leading lady way back in 2006 when she appeared opposite Shreyas Talpade in Apna Sapna Money Money. The film was a success but Riya Sen was in no mood to get into a signing spree. Waiting patiently for the right roles to come her way, the pretty young girl, who has also been seen in successful films like Shaadi No. 1, Plan, Qayamat, Jhankaar Beats and last but not the least Style, has been keeping herself busy by being a part of item songs.

Her mini appearance amongst a horde of girls was definitely noticed as she burnt the dance floor in the sizzling title song from the film Heyy Babyy (2007). The song turned out to be a chartbuster and Riya was noticed once again in spite of the presence of a dozen odd sexy sirens like Celina Jaitley, Koena Mitra and Amisha Patel amongst others.

Now she has got a platform set for herself to make a further impression with the film Hum Phirr Milein Na Milein where she has got an entire item song shot exclusively on her.

Titled “Sajan Mera”, a number where Riya is seen in yet another sizzling avatar, it also features the film’s lead Sarwar Ahuja who appears to be all pensive and troubled as per the demand of the situation in the song. Along with Sarwar, who had debuted with Khanna & Iyer last year, the film also stars Tabassum’s grand daughter Khushi, who would be making her debut as a leading lady. The film is produced by Rajesh Gupta and directed by Manish Goel.

Incidentally Hum Phirr Milein Na Milein was recently in news since the makers had gone on record to state that Riya wasn’t cooperating with them for the promotion of the film. Apparently Riya, who has a cameo role in Hum Phirr Milein Na Milein, felt that the makers only wanted to cash in on her name and popularity to promote the film. This is why she was demanding close to Rs.3 lakh just to promote the film.

Though there hasn’t been an official word on this from Riya, the makers have made it clear that they won’t bow down to her demands since the film’s promotion was planned with an extremely tight budget.
