Aishwarya not Racing The Monsoon anymore
July 01, 08 by Siddharth
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s much anticipated Hollywood biggie ‘Racing the Monsoon’ has come to standstill with Michael Douglas dropping the Indian beauty from his home production.
Just when we believed that Ash was our own answer to Hollywood, the damsel’s Hollywood plans have hit a roadblock, as she is no longer a part of Douglas’s movie for which she was to initially play the main lead.
The film ‘Racing the Monsoon’ is being jointly produced by Michael Douglas’s ‘Further Films’ and ‘Percept Picture Company’s’ Shailendra Singh. Douglas’s wife Catherine Zeta Zones has stepped in place of Aishwarya.
Though the reasons for the change are known, industry insiders are citing Zeta’s global appeal over Aishwarya as a possible reason for the move.
‘Racing the Monsoon’ will see Douglas portraying a double role and the movie premise is based around a diamond robbery, which occurs on an Indian train.

CZJ is clearly JEALOUS of the young gorgeous Ash Rai !
ASH is accomplished, educated and stunning and successful, whereas CZJ is an old
boisterous drinking, smoking near-illiterate, with no higher education degree or accomplishments other than gold-digging and movie flops.
Everyone in Hollywood must be laughing over this one.
CZJ has NO ‘global appeal’ and is a hasbeen and DList-level actress now and could
never carry a movie on her own.
She is clearly 50 years old too. (Real age came out in 1999 at a White House security check- she shaves off a whopping ELEVEN YEARS ! )
Catherine was too jealous ! Says: 22.07.08 at 4:55 pm
Michael Douglas clearly is a wimp.
Be a MAN, Michael and cast Ash and she will be a sensation !
Catherine looks too old for this part and her dyed-BLACK hair looks ridiculous
instead of her natural mousy light brown.
