Bipasha in Karisma’s shoes

From a long time Karisma Kapoor aka Lolo was awaiting for a good script to come her way and make a smashing comeback like her other counterparts. Luckily she got one in Producer Bunty Walia’s forthcoming project Lamha. Karisma was also equally excited about this new project until the director of the film Lamha Rahul Dholakia told her that he wanted to shoot the film in Kashmir. Given the unrest in the valley, Karisma expressed her inability to shoot in Kashmir and opted out of the project.

But there is no stopping to the project, as it is learnt that the makers have approached Bipasha Basu to play the role which Karisma was to play earlier. And Bipasha has also given her nod for the same. When Bipasha heard about the script she readily agreed to be part of it and also to shoot in Kashmir valley.Well, till date we have seen Bipasha portraying sexy, urbane and glamorous characters. Lamha will be her first movie where we will discover a complete new avatar of Bipasha, as the sultry siren will play a Kashmiri girl in this flick.

Apart from Bipasha, Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the main lead and actor Kunal Kapoor has also been roped in. As per the reports the shooting of the movie will soon commence in Kashmir.

Meanwhile the actress is relishing over the success of her 2 back-to-back films this year Race and Bachna Ae Haseeno.
