First Look : Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s Dilli 6

Rakesh Omprakash Mehra who hit gold with his Aamir Khan starrer film, Rang De Basanti is all set to release his next movie . A movie which is very different from his previous two films, Aks and RDB.

The movie that is titled Dilli 6 will star Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead role.

The first look of the highly anticipated film Delhi 6, starring Sonam Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan will be shown at the Dubai International Film Festival. Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Sonam and Abhishek will be there to present the film.

Also there will be Freida Pinto and Anil Kapoor for Slumdog Millionaire, Preity Zinta will be in attendance for her film Heaven on Earth and Nandita Das for her directorial debut film Firaaq.

Along with these stars there will also be a host of Hollywood stars including Nicholas Cage, Brendan Fraser, Oliver Stone, Danny Glover, Eliza Bennett, Salma Hayek, Goldie Hawn and Laura Linney.

According to the website: “Reflecting Dubai’s cosmopolitan and multicultural character, the festival showcases a wide selection of features, shorts and documentaries from around the world. DIFF aims at establishing itself as a major international festival, while continuing to act as a platform for showcasing excellence in Arab Cinema and simultaneously contributing to the development and growth of the regional industry and talent.” The festival, which is in its 5th year, runs from December 11th to the 18th.
