Fashion bible Vogue has declared Friedo Pinto to be number 1 on this weeks list of ‘Ten Best Dressed’ beating stars such as Renée Zellweger and Rosamund Pike.

Slumdog Millionaire is Freida’s first movie and after already garnering such plaudits it seems that Freida, who plays the protagonist’s winsome love interest, Latika, has been charming audiences both on-screen and off.

The dusky beauty was lauded for her outfit at the 20th Annual Producers Guild Awards at the Hollywood Palladium, Los Angeles on January 24th. Freida dazzled in a peach Donna Karan gown, Bally heels, and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

When she was asked if her world has changed after Slumdog she said, “Not at all. I’m still the same, sensitive and simple girl who always dreamed about being an actress. The only thing that’s changed is that the girl walking around in jeans and tees has now taken to wearing designer dresses.”

With celebrated designers such as Christian Lacroix, Moschino and Marchesa lining up to dress the sexy Ms. Pinto, we are sure that much more fashion attention is heading her way.

The big question now is what will the delightful Freida Pinto wear to the Oscars?
