Do Aditya Chopra and Shahrukh Khan recreate the DDLJ magic? Well, not really!
The story is of Surender Sahni (Shahrukh Khan), a middle class simple living government employee, who gets married to a bubby girl Tani (Anushka Sharma).

Since Tani is not in love with Surender, he decides to get a makeover and appears in front of her as Raj… just shaves his moustache and gets a spiky hair look. She thinks that he is a different guy, and eventually falls in love with him. Finally, she gets to know that Raj is Surender and… Happys Endings.

The movie is sweet and simple, but it does not rise above the normal. Somehow you feel that the movie is not up to the mark. It could be because of the fact that we were expecting too much out of DDLJ SRK-Aditya team.

Rab Ne Bana di Jodi surpise package
The only high point in the movie is the Medley song ‘phir milenge chalte chalte’ where we get to see Kajol, Bipasha, Lara Dutta, Preity Zinta and Rani Mukherjee groove with Shahrukh Khan.

Well, there are few more high points (mainly funny) like the scene where Shahrukh Khan leaves his mobile number on the dining table and keeps a rose next to it, and again decides not to. The use of Haule Haule’s starting music as background for that scene is brilliant.

Aditya Chopra, just give us a brake! What kind of a script was that? Do you mean to say that your female lead is so dumb that she can’t even recognize her husband just because he has shaved his moustache?
It seems that after making movies like ‘Neel N Nikki’ and ‘Tashan’, Aditya has lost it. But I should applaud him because there is no trademark Yashraj Switzerland, designer clothes and everyone is rich in Rab Ne Banadi Jodi.

As usual Shahrukh Khan is brilliant. Probably it must have been challenging for him to play Surender because we have never seen him like that before. His portrayal of Raj was too loud and sometimes irritating. But overall a knock out performance.
Anushka Sharma is bubbly and has a terrific screen presence. She had to play both bubbly and sober girl, and she has done great justice. Anushka is not a great actress but she has the potential to improve.
Vinay Pathak as SRK’s friend is first rate. Well, he has never done anything bad till date.
It is hard to believe that the movie has just three main characters, and rest of them disappear in no time.
Salim-Sulaiman’s music is not great, but ‘Haule Haule’ and ‘Phir Milenge’ stand out.
Coming back to direction, Aditya Chopra has done a fair job. But as I said earlier, DDLJ touch is missing.
Verdict: Rab Ne Banadi Jodi is an Average movie… so don’t expect it to be like DDLJ or even like OSO.

RAZZ 2 is certainly not the sequel of Raaz is what is all said about the movie. DirectorsMahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt desperately are trying to clear the buzz in the air the RAAZ 2certainly has its own conception and has nothing to do with RAAZ. Kangana plays a super model in this film and Adhyayan her boyfriend.

The movie had its shooting going on at Goregaon Film City, Mumbai on 11^th April, 2008 where some of the shots of Kangana walking the ramp were undertaken.

The movie features the very patent and favorite actor of Bhatt camp i.e. Emraan Hashmi along with Kangana Ranaut. The film introduces a fresh face this year and that is actor Shekhar Suman’s son Adhyayan. Just as a perfect newcomer Adhyayan was found appreciating theBhatt camp and of course the two Emraan and Kangana. Adhyayan in real life seems to be very scary of minute things also and says, “The scary part of the movie for which we will be shooting is yet to come with much scary locations.

Mohit Suri the director of the film celebrated his birthday on the sets as the huge target is to be accomplished.

Where a big banner film goes controversies are bound to be followed. A little birdie said thatBipasha Basu was the initial choice for RAAZ 2 but as it is said she didn’t appreciated to work with Emraan Hashmi. And Kangana has no issues with &
